Help Make A Difference

Only individuals who are residents of the Northwest Territories or corporations carrying on business in the Northwest Territories can make political contributions. In addition, only an association or organization that operates in the Northwest Territories may make a contribution. Contributions are tax deductible.

The maximum amount that an individual, corporation, association, or organization can contribute to a campaign is $1,500. 

The maximum credit is $500 and is calculated as follows:

• 100% of the first $100 contributed
• 50% of the next $800 contributed
