Working for a Better Government

It’s the final day for my campaign to be the next MLA for Kam Lake. I could not happier with the work we have done, the incredible support I’ve received from Kam Lakers and the strong platform that I am offering to voters. Together, my team and I have knocked on more than 1000 doors, had great conversations with hundreds of voters and have listened to the concerns of Kam Lake residents. I’ve learned so much and brought that back into my platform, with new ideas based on what I have heard on the doorstep. There are still more doors to knock, more people to meet and more conversations to be had. I’ll be working hard until the polls close.

The one thing I have heard most of all is that Kam Lake is ready for change. People are asking for a representative who understands their concerns and has a real solutions for a better government that takes action on their needs. I am committed to working hard for the people of Kam Lake and the Northwest Territories. I am ready to be the change Kam Lake needs.

Thank You Kam Lake

What an incredible journey this has all been. I’m proud to have been part of this historic territorial election and to have worked with such an amazing team.

I want to thank my family, especially Colleen and Corbin for their love and patience over the course of many campaigns. I also want to thank my friends, volunteers and all my supporters in Kam Lake who have chosen me as their voice in the next Legislative Assembly. Finally, I would like to thank Dave Ramsay for his 12 years of public service and running a great campaign that stayed focused on the issues.

We’ve seen change come to Ottawa and now to the NWT. I can’t wait to get to work and start building a better government for Northerners with the help of my new MLA colleagues across the North.

Thank you all again for making this possible.
